Call for papers

We invite submissions for 20-minute papers and/or posters in all areas of linguistic variation and change. Abstracts not exceeding 300 words (excluding title and references) should be submitted electronically at http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/nwav38/ no later than Sunday, May 31, 2009. Authors may submit one singly-authored and one jointly-authored abstract, or two jointly-authored abstracts. Submissions will be reviewed anonymously.

Panel sessions and workshops

We are also accepting proposals for a limited number of panel sessions and workshops. Organizers should submit 500-word abstracts describing the workshop/panel theme. Panel organizers should also include individual 300-word abstracts for each participant.
